Dahon is the world leader in folding bicycles. Since 1982, Dahon has produced over 1.4 million bicycles for customers around the world. Dahon is headquartered in Los Angeles and has factories and offices in China, Taiwan, and Macau.

Dahon is the recognized technology leader in the folding bicycle field, with a library of over 80 patents and approximately 10 new patents each year. Dahon’s R&D team of forty engineers and technicians is led by Dr. David Hon, Dahon founder and a former aerospace physicist with ten patents in the field of solid-state lasers.

Dahon produces over 50 different models in styles to suit every riding requirement. Dahon offers models for commuting, for city riding, for sport touring, for mountain biking, and even for road racing. Dahon bicycles are sold in over 30 different countries by many of the world’s leading bicycle distributors.

Dahon also makes its technology available to partner companies in several other ways. To some of the world’s leading bicycle companies, Dahon sells fully assembled OEM brand folding bicycles and also frames and folding components. Dahon also licenses its technology in select instances.
